I love my tea time because it’s the time of day where I get to sit back and relax and just enjoy a good cup of tea. I’ve tried several different brands of tea and when I came across FashionistaTea, I knew it was a brand I wanted to try as well. For starters, it’s organic. For another reason, it’s Fair Trade which basically means this company is helping developing countries achieve better trading conditions. And then I took into account that it’s just so fashionable. I’m serious.
The tea comes in a choice of loose Tea or sachets. I selected loose tea and put it to the test right away. I was looking for a nice rich bold taste and color. If tea isn’t dark, I’m not happy so of course I like bold flavors. I selected the Organic Fashionista Blend and it satisfied my inner fashionista. It’s made with Organic Black Tea, Organic Rose Petals (I never knew they could taste so amazing), Organic Lavender (always a favorite with me), Organic Orange Peel and Natural Flavor. I knew when I read the ingredients that I was in for a nice tea time treat.
The tin is so cute. I’m certain I’ll save it forever and I’m sure I’ll plant herbs in it when it’s empty. I plant in all of my favorite tins which look so cute in my little kitchen. I save my Royal Albert tea sets for the best teas. This tea passed/passes the Royal Albert test.
You can see all of the delicious ingredients in the tea. I only wish you could take a whiff of it. It smells delightful and the smell alone will make you want a cup or several.
Steep time is 3 to 5 minutes and I couldn’t wait to try my new tea. I was counting down the minutest. And guess what?! It was/is worth the wait. Take my word for it, once you finish one cup, you’ll want another.
